Interviewer: What does a usual visit look like?

Volunteer B: I check the shared watering list before my own plot. It is easier to join in when someone has written down what needs doing.

Interviewer: Do the rules help?

Volunteer B: The plot borders help me know where to start, but they are not a reason to leave a dry plant alone. We talk and work things out.

Interviewer: Is there anything you would change?

Volunteer B: I like helping, but the same few people always do the extra jobs. I wish we could ask for a quiet week without having to explain ourselves.
